Atlanta on Repeat
A passion project in which I wrote, illustrated, designed, printed, assembled & photographed an 8-page zine to serve as a goodbye love letter to one of my favorite cities.
This project was completed in the span of a week in the summer of 2025. I printed it on a Risograph printer thanks to Sarah Lawrence’s Design Emporium.
Below is a scanned-in version of this zine so you can enjoy all the delicious riso textures, with captions of all the copy to maintain accessibility. Thanks for reading!

ATLANTA ON REPEAT
This little zine is about the city of Atlanta, Georgia as I’ve experienced it. This is not a guide to the trendiest spots in Atlanta, just the ones that became mine: places that made me feel welcome, inspired, and well-fed. I hope this motivates you to get out there and find your own repeat spaces. Enjoy!
IZZY WOOTONN
AIGA ATLANTA
My favorite organizer of creative community. Monthly happy hours, quarterly workshops, book clubs & more—most events are free and open to everyone.
An easy, low-pressure way to meet creative folks in the city. Welcoming, unpretentious, and collaborative.

ATLANTA PRINTMAKER’S STUDIO
HAPEVILLE
A gem of a studio focused on community access & education. So many techniques available to learn in beginner-friendly workshops or weekly classes. (I’m biased towards the Riso printing class—that’s the medium this zine was printed in!)
SWITCHYARDS
CABBAGETOWN
The coolest place to get work done. Feels more like a creative club than a co-working space—think retro, sporty, artsy, and incredibly hospitable. Vintage design magazines deck the shelves, I’m inspired every time I thumb through them while waiting for my coffee! If you’re close enough to walk or bike there? Even better!
RADIO ROASTERS
DECATUR
As a former barista & current coffee snob, let me tell you these are the best beans for cafe-quality coffee at home. Delicious single-origin light roasts, responsibly sourced beans, and the perfect decaf espresso. What’s not to love?
We’ve ordered 42 lbs of their coffee to our home in a year. Not kidding. The online ordering is just too easy.
EAST PALISADES TRAILHEAD & SWEETWATER CREEK STATE PARK
My top 2 hiking spots within 30 minutes of the city! Parking is only a few bucks—or grab a Georgia State Parks annual pass to cover the rest of the year! Hot take: A lot of people will tell you it's too hot for a midday hike in July. I say that’s nonsense! Most of the trails are heavily shaded. You can always cool off with a little dip in the Chattahoochee River!
OXFIT GYM
EAST ATLANTA VILLAGE
If you’ve ever wanted to try weight lifting but felt too intimidated, OxFit is for you! Their golden rule: if you don’t know everyone’s name by the end of the warm-up, the whole group does burpees. Weird? Yes. Effective? Also yes. It’s the most encouraging gym I’ve ever joined—equal parts sweaty and silly.
ATLANTA BELTLINE
SOUTHEAST TRAIL
I’ve spent a lot of lunch breaks & evenings walking this paved, easy out-and-back. It’s a perfect way to let your brain go on autopilot and get lost in thought or a good conversation. Avoiding Atlanta traffic is a breeze with this trail (if you have an e-bike!)
PONCE CITY MARKET
OLD FOURTH WARD
A historic Sears building converted into a food hall, located right on the Beltline. Ideal for casual group dining—there’s something for everyone! My go-to is Botiwalla. Get the Mango Lassi and a side of Masala Smashed Potatoes. Yum!
LITTLE TART
GRANT PARK
Adorable café that feels like it belongs in a postcard with seriously underrated breakfast sandwiches. I have no idea how they get the eggs so fluffy. The almond croissant is practically perfection—they really don’t skimp on the marzipan filling!
POLLO PRIMO
EAST ATLANTA
Low-key Latin American spot with good vibes, colorful décor, and friendly staff. The chicken falls right off the bone and is perfectly spiced! Their beans are the best I’ve ever had. Order extra and thank me later.
